October 5, 2013 – Fall Sprawl Run/Walk/Roll to benefit Camp Wawbeek 9am. Everyone is invited to join in the celebration for Fall Sprawl on Saturday, October 5th to walk, run and roll together to raise funds for Easter Seals Wisconsin Camp Wawbeek. The 10K Run or 5K Run/Walk & Wheel will take place at Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells. This cross-country course over pavement, gravel, and grass is suitable for both serious runners and for families who prefer a stroll through the beautiful nature trails. Along the course, participants will be able to enjoy the beautiful autumn woodlands. Water stations will be fully staffed. Participants in wheelchairs may participate over partially accessible trails. Easter Seals Camp Wawbeek, 1450 Highway 13, Wisconsin Dells. On-site registration will take place from 8:00 – 9:00 am the day of the event. Participants (including children under 10) must check in the morning of the event. Waiver forms must be signed at check-in, and a parental or legal guardian signature is required for those under 18. October 18 – 20, 2013 – Fall Art Tour-Open Studios of Wisconsin Artists 10-6pm. The Bar Buddies Boo Safe Program (BBB) is a new Baraboo Organization dedicated to helping prevent the consequences of drinking and driving by offering safe rides home. BBB’s safe ride teams donate their time Friday and Saturday nights from 10:00pm-3:00am or until the last rider is safely home.  BBB also strives to educate the community about the dangers of alcohol-impaired driving. There will be a Chili Cook-Off Contest, Costume Contest and Trunk or Treat..Participants who enter a decorated trunk  into the Trunk or Treat event will be instructed to park their vehicle around the perimeter of a designated area.  Children can remain safely inside the ring of vehicles as they walk from trunk to trunk, collecting treats from participants.  Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
